Kimberly Elise will be taking over the small screen in a new scripted series called "Bounce." And it just got picked up by VH1. Deets on the new show inside....
We told you earlier about actress Kimberly Elise shooting a pilot for an hour long scripted series....and now the show has a home at VH1. The show, "Bounce", will star Kimberly along with Dean Cain, Charlotte Ross, newcomer Taylour Paige and Logan Browning has.
Created and written by James LaRosa, "Bounce" will follow the lives and loves of the Los Angeles Devil Girls, the dance team for the No.1 professional basketball team in the country. Kimberly plays the mother of one of the girls in the Sanaa Hamri-directed pilot.
“Bounce has all the elements we know VH1 viewers love; a world very much on the pop culture radar, an incredible cast and compelling, addictive storytelling,” said Jeff Olde, EVP Original Programming and Production. “We wanted to create a scripted series at VH1 in which music is a strong narrative force, and we have found that with Bounce.
