While her big sis Beyonce was back in the States chillin' at Jay's Made In America Festival, Solange Knowles jetted to South Africa with MaMa Tina to shoot her beautifully eclectic new music video. We've got all the details and pics inside....
Curl queen Solange traveled to the townships of Cape Town, South Africa--Langa & Khayelitsha--over the weekend to shoot her rand new music video for "Losing You." The song will appear on a new album Solo is working on, and we're loving the vibe already.

ELLE South Africa's Fashion Director, Asanda Sizaniwas (pictured above on set with Ms. Tina), was at the helm of the wardrobe choices. And she described them as a clash of prints & colors. Here's a few pics of Solo rocking a rad pant suit and more:

And she showed off her hot shoes and Rimmel nail polish in the 200 Orange Your Life shade. She's a spokeswoman for the company afterall.
About the video shoot, Solange told the Sunday Times:
“The locations for my video will largely be inspired by the color in the architecture and townships around here. We'll just take a camera and see what happens."
She also described the "Losing You" track as "eclectic with '80s references and African percussion influences".
Expect the video to drop in October, and watch out for Solange's gorgeous self rocking the upcoming cover of the November 2012 issue of ELLE South Africa.
