Olympic medalist Gabrielle Douglas is one of the YBF celebs featured in TIME Magazine's "Person of the Year" issue. See her photo inside along with Joan Smalls'"Vogue Brazil" cover and the trailer for Arsenio Hall's upcoming talk show.
After a stellar performance at the 2012 Olympics in London, Gabrielle Douglas had a huge impact on the world of sports this year. In honor of her achievements, she was photographed for TIME magazines's "Person of the Year" issue with President Obama on the cover.
Gabby, who hopes to compete again for Team USA in the 2016 Olympics, was also named the "Female Athlete of the Year" by the Associated Press recently. But the awards, accolades and endorsements deals have done very little to change who the young gymnast is at her core. Having written a best-selling autobiography called Grace, Gold, and Glory she spoke about her future saying:
"I think there's even higher bars to set." She adds, "I may be meeting cool celebrities and I'm getting amazing opportunities...But I'm still the same Gabby."
Congrats Gabby!
