Jay Z SELLS ‘Made in America’ Documentary To SHOWTIME + Birdman & Rick Ross'"50 Plates" (VIDEO)

Made In America a new concert documentary film produced by Jay Z and Ron Howard has been picked up by Showtime.  Get the deets inside and watch Rich Gang's Birdman and Rick Ross new video "50 Plates".  

 

Jay Z, Kanye West and Run-D.M.C. are among the acts featured in Made in America, a new documentary set to air on Showtime on October 11th.

The film was produced by Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Ron Howard with Jay Z, and provides an intimate backstage pass to Jay Z’s two-day "Made in America Festival" held in Philadelphia last year.

David Nevins, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc, spoke about the doc saying,

“As soon as we saw this film we knew it was a perfect fit for Showtime. Ron Howard and Jay Z have crafted an inspirational portrayal of American resilience, drive and creativity, interwoven with an incredible showcase of musical talent.”

The documentary will debut at the Toronto Film Fest on Sept. 7th before Showtime premieres it on Oct. 11th.  Nice!

Birdman and Rick Ross have teamed up for for the cinematic video for “50 Plates” off the Rich Gang compilation. Check out the clip above and see cameos from Ace Hood, Young Breed, and Caskey.  It's your usual money tossing in a random mansion with plastic overdone furniture type visual.  But, to each his own...
