Nene Leakes has taken to Twitter (again) to air out her feelings about women with poor business skills. And we suspect she's lashing out at her "alleged" wedding planner and the million dollar lawsuit that's hanging over her head. Especially since promo for her upcoming wedding reality show is now in full throttle. Get the latest from both ladies on their legal war inside...
Famed "RHOA" star Nene Leakes is gearing up for her new-Bravo spinoff series "I Dream Of Nene: The Wedding" (Sept. 17th, at 9 p.m. EST) and some of the wedding drama has spilled into social media (and into the legal system). We told you earlier about Nene's alleged" wedding planner, Tiffany Cook, suing her $2.5 Million. And now, both women are speaking out about the drama.
Over on Twitter, Nene has been tweeting about "women" with "no business sense". It's not the first time that the outpoken reality star has addressed some shady business dealings on her timeline, and thanks to the Bravo promo of her new show, we see that Tiffany and Nene will surely share some awkward moments.
For her part, Tiffany spoke to Rolling Out about the lawsuit where she claims Nene has destroyed her reputation and is affecting her business. She told the mag,
She has 1.3 million [Twitter] followers. To say such negative things about me, it can only be devastating. When you Google my name right now, there are 300 pages saying I am a scam artist, among other things. Again, we [Tiffany Cook Events] deal with a high-profile clientele. Generally, I am all over the Internet for the fantastic things that I do. It is absolutely devastating.......I want to be paid for my services and clearly erase this damage this has caused. I want my life and my business back.
It turns out, Tiffany was referred to Nene by fellow "RHOA" castmate Porsha Williams Stewart (but clearly this didn't end well).
Tiffany claims she had a signed contract with Nene and didn't know she had been "fired" until Nene and her camp completely shut her out. And to add insult to injury, the wedding planner Nene hired (Tony Conway/A Legendary Event) was a vendor that Tiffany had brought in to do the flowers! Messy. But that will be good tv!
