More details have emerged in the wake of Whitney Houston's death.
- Sources say Whitney was found partially underwater in the bathtub with her face below the water and her legs were up (as if she had slid down the back of the tub)
- Because Whitney had a prescription for Xanax found in the room and was seen drinking heavily the day before, it is suspected that she went into a deep state of sleep while in the bathtub, which could lead to drowning.
- Her stylist, hairdresser and two bodyguards were in the room at the time and became worried because she was in the bathroom for over an hour.
- The stylist went to knock on the door and when there was no answer, the hairdresser, who is female, went in and discovered the body.
- Bobbi Kristina showed up to the hotel room after Whitney's death and was told by officers that no one was allowed to see the body. Officials say she then screamed, cursed and demanded to see her mother.
- Dionne Warwick and Ray-J were also denied access to the body when she showed up.
- An autopsy is scheduled for today.
- Whitney's albums are topping the charts today in the wake of her death.
- Simon Cowell revealed yesterday he was indeed in talk with Whitney to become a mentor on "X-Factor."
- Bobby Brown is set to skip tonight's New Edition concert to fly to L.A. to be with Bobbi Kristina.
Tonight at the Grammys, Jennifer Hudson and Chaka Khan are expected to lead a special tribute to Nippy.

Bobby Brown said in an official statement,
“I am deeply saddened at the passing of my ex-wife, Whitney Houston. At this time, we ask for privacy, especially for my daughter, Bobbi-Kristina. I appreciate all of the condolences that have been directed towards my family and I at this most difficult time.”
And Celine Dion said,
"When I started my career, I wanted to be like her. I loved her so much. My prayers go out to her daughter and to all of her family."
Whitney's mother Cissy stated:
We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from her fans and friends.

Meanwhile, Wiz added that Whitney was an importance force in he industry and her death will make folks step their game up.
